Disco Wedding

I am a huge fan of disco balls, partly because of their cheese, but partly because they sparkle. Come on people, if this doesn't symbolize a party, what does? But disco balls don't always have to be kitschy, they can actually make great wedding decor.

Gone to the dogs

Did you know that there's a whole leg of the wedding industry that specializes in pet-friendly weddings? I love my dog to pieces, but I'm not sure I would go as far as having her stand up in our wedding. It does make for a great photo.

Fabulous Details (Getaway Car)

I know this is one of the final details of the wedding, but it is one of my absolute favorites and you could have so much fun with it!

We probably won't be having a getaway car, since our ceremony and reception are at the same venue, which is also the place we will be spending our first night as a married couple, but sigh, it would be a fun thing to have.

Color Palette

One of my favorite parts of my job is choosing a new color palette each season. I love color and I love how they can set the tone of the showroom, storefronts or runway shows. It's no surprise that when it came to wedding planning one of the things I was most excited about was choosing a color palette.

As I mentioned I want the tone of our celebration to be fun and happy. The main colors will be shades of grey and yellow with lots of happy, rich colored details. I picture bright flowers and accessories inspired by the below inspiration board.
